Questions

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The checker runs entirely in your browser. Your files are read on your computer and never sent to us or anyone else.

My site is on WordPress, Wix or Squarespace. Can I use this?

Why does blocking AI crawlers matter?

ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude fetch pages when someone asks them for a recommendation. If your robots.txt blocks those crawlers, they can't read your site, so they're less likely to recommend you. Blocking training-only crawlers such as GPTBot is a separate choice and is not flagged.
